We have officially received the building permit for the construction of our new office building at the Oudsbergen site. With the permit in hand, we have begun the preparation phase and the development of construction details. The actual construction work is scheduled to start in March 2025, with completion expected in October 2025.

With a total area of 900 square meters, this building will not only provide a modern workspace but also serve as a showcase of our expertise and commitment to innovation. The design prioritizes employee well-being and social interaction, featuring ergonomic workspaces and a focus on acoustics and climate control to create a comfortable and stimulating work environment.
For the steel and concrete panels, the two primary materials in the building, we are naturally relying on our trusted partners within the Altez Group, LG Beton and Meco Metal. Both companies are also located on the same site as the new office building. This allows materials to be delivered directly from production to the construction site without heavy transport on public roads, significantly reducing the project’s carbon footprint during construction.
The new offices will be constructed just in front of our current office, which will be demolished after the relocation at the end of 2025. The area will then be converted into permeable parking spaces and thoughtfully designed green landscaping with water buffering to minimize the impact of rainwater discharge on the public sewer system.
By constructing the new building ahead of demolishing the old one, Altez operations will remain uninterrupted, allowing everyone to continue working from their familiar workspace.
The building’s design was developed by architectural firm Buro B, which blends functionality and aesthetics by combining architectural elements with modern construction techniques. Large glass surfaces and a concrete exterior wall create a light, open atmosphere, while the structure provides a sense of security. Strategically placed openings in the concrete framework enhance interaction with the surroundings and optimize light penetration and views.
Our choice of sustainable and circular construction materials reflects our commitment to minimizing the ecological footprint and maximizing material reusability. Built with energy efficiency in mind, this new building will not only serve as our new home but also as a model for how businesses can contribute to a more sustainable future.
With this new construction, we are taking a significant step towards innovation and sustainability, creating an inspiring workplace in the Oudsbergen region.
